Vision [who we are]

A loving, open fellowship committed to Jesus Christ

Nativity is a relational church - encouraging people to have a personal relationship with God and to be in relationship with each other. This is modelled on the Early Church which lived in community. At Nativity, people are accepted and loved just as Christ accepts and loves each one of us. We recognise that what Christ is to each of us, he is also to others.

          Our Mission (what we do) is summed up in 3 words:

• to DRAW people to faith in Christ
• to GROW people in their commitment to Christ
• to REACH out beyond ourselves with the love of Christ

To draw people to faith in Christ means to walk alongside people as they discover the unconditional love of God for them.

To grow people in their commitment to Christ means to provide a climate where they receive more and more of God’s love for them through worship, community, discipleship and loving care.

To reach beyond ourselves with the love of Christ is to demonstrate our commitment to our world and our local community through acts of practical love.
