Current Small Groups

FAMILY CARE CELL
This is a group for families with children of any age. It is a place to connect, do life together and support each other.
WHEN:   Sundays 12:30 - 3:00pm during school term
​WHERE: Cedar Grove

PIE AND A PINT
A group of men who gather together over a Burleigh pie and a drink to discuss faith in action. Men of all persuasions are welcome.

WHEN:   2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month
               6:00pm - 8:00pm

WIDOWS
This group is for women who have been widowed and range in ages from 50s - 70s. We do a lot of relationship things and include a study each week, as well as do regular social events together.

​WHEN:   Wednesdays 7:00pm during school term

GERRIE'S GROUP
This small group is very welcoming to newcomers and has a core membership with ages ranging from 45 - 75. Some are parents of recent school-leavers while others are business people or retired. We are a social group who likes to explore social justice concerns and learning how to live authentically as Christians.

​WHEN:    Tuesdays 7:30pm fortnightly
​WHERE:   Various locations

ROBYN'S GROUP
This group generally caters for women aged 60+ and aims to encourage one another in life's journey, as well as placing an emphasis on prayer. We get into a relaxed Bible study most weeks and host a social event each month .

​WHEN:    Tuesdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm 
                ​during school term
​WHERE:  Maxwell Road

EILEEN'S GROUP
This is a group for retired men and women who join weekly during the school term for fellowship, an in depth Bible Study, with plenty of time for discussion and prayer. Any newcomers are most welcome.

​WHEN:    Tuesdays 10:00am - 11:15am

​WHERE:  Percy Street

DOWNES' GROUP
​
A mixed group of couples and singles for the 40-60 years bracket. We generally get into a Bible study with lots of laughs and good discussion.

RACHEL'S GROUP
This is a small group of women in the 40s-50s age bracket who meet weekly and support each other in their faith journey by completing varying devotional style studies.
