Sentence:

They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

Collect:

Eternal God, Between Ascension and the Spirit; Between your going and your coming; we await your purpose. Grant us expectant hearts, and give us the vision of your reign. For you are alive and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Readings:

  • Acts 1:1–11
  • Luke 24:44–53
Apologies we do not have a recording of this service.

We have a variety of tools that we are working on to help small groups 'connect'. These include activities that you can choose to do together as a small group worship service.
Remember that these are simply a starting point for your small group - you may discover other tools or activities that suit you better. If you do discover something fabulous, please share it so others may also be encouraged.

We thank the Diocese of Wellington for their work in forming the framework for the house church liturgy.
