Collect: Loving Shepherd:  you lead us nowhere you yourself have not been.  Call us by name, lift us high upon your shoulders, and bring us to the fold.  Through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you,  in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

Readings: 1 Peter 1:3-9 & John 20:19-31

Sentence: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3

Collect: God of mystery, you affirm our right to question what we find hard to know. Grant us the maturity of faith that knows when to question and when to trust. Through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

Collect: Alleluia, faithful God: on this day you raised Jesus from death, and calmed our greatest fear. Help us to celebrate with joy; that, in greeting the risen Saviour, we may be filled with the hope of resurrected life. Through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Readings: 1 Peter 2:1-9 & Matthew 21:1-11

Sentence: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9

Collect: God of kings and criminals:  your ways are not our ways.  On the way to Jerusalem, with shouts we acclaimed you;  on the way to Calvary, with shouts we condemned you.  Mercifully grant us the way that leads to life,  For you are alive and reign with the Father  in the unity of the Holy Spirit,  one God, now and for ever. Amen
