A fresh look at the Lord’s Prayer - Why do we tend to pray it backwards?

3/10/2022

Readings: 2 Chronicles 7: 11- 20 & Luke 11:1-13

Sentence: He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread.  Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. Luke 11:2-4

Collect: God our shield and our rampart, it is your strength, not the size of our faith that supports us in all life’s difficulties; may we be content to simply serve, and, when our labours are done, all gather as equals around your table; through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Sermon: Peter Olliver ( 8& 10am)
