Sentence: “Come, let us return to the Lord, that we may live before him.”  Hosea 6:1a, 2b

Readings: Ruth 4:1-12 & Luke 15:1-7

Sentence: “By grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing: it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8,9

Collect: God of grace, you are kind to all people, good beyond our understanding. Help us to be grateful for what we have been given and merciful and generous with our sisters and brothers.  Teach us the ways of your kingdom where the last will be first and the first will be last. Through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
