Collect: Faithful and compassionate God, Jesus was not received in his hometown and still we fail to recognize you. Grant us hearts and minds receptive to your word, and give us the love and will to serve you; Through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
