Sentence: I bring you good news of great joy for all people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10–11
Collect: Almighty God, you gave your only-begotten Son to take our nature upon him, and be born of the Virgin Mary; grant that we, who are born again and made your children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by your Holy Spirit; through Jesus Christ our saviour, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever. Amen.
