There is a working bee in the grounds and carpark of Nativity Saturday 4th November from 8am –noon. We have a wonderful church and grounds that need maintaining regularly so if you can help it is a great way to meet people from the different services and clean up at the same time. Bring along any gear you would use. E.g. gloves, secateurs, loppers, fadge bags etc. We will need to have some men who are able to help David James with the heavier side of things, e.g. shredding the branches.
Garden Marlborough Fete Sunday 12th November, Nativity Car Park fund raising. Approx. 6am to 2pm. We need helpers please, to work a roster system. If you can spare an hour to help it would be very much appreciated. Please let Pauline 578 7351 or Elaine 578 4331 know if you can help. Thank you
Beverley Cross is proud to be launching the release of her book William's Story at Marlborough District Library on Wednesday 11th October 2017 at 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM. William's Story is an inspirational book not only about a teddy bear's journey to India with the Leprosy Mission; it is also the story of a woman of deep faith, who kept alive a dream that she had nurtured for well over 50 years. A percentage of book sales is being donated to the Leprosy Mission. Come along and meet this amazing woman and bear. Entry by gold coin donation. Tea and coffee provided.
We will be holding our annual Memorial Service Wednesday 1st November at 7pm. We will remember those who have died over the past year. If you have had a family member or friend who has died and the funeral was not held at Nativity please phone the office with their name and we will add them to our list. |
